ston where she graduated with a degree in Business. She relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1989 for her first corporate job with Castle & Cooke, a subsidiary of Dole Food where she obtained her CPM® designation. Laurie fell in love with the Raleigh area after experiencing the exciting nightlife, the amazing restaurants, the many outdoor activities available, and the very friendly people. After 8 years with Castle & Cooke, Laurie decided to pursue a long-time aspiration of owning her own staging business. Laurie devoted 10 years of her professional life to starting and growing Status Staging, LLC including earning her ASP® designation. This venture allowed her the opportunity to work closely with some of the Triangle region's top real estate professionals. After multiple successful collaborations with leading realtors, Laurie was invited to join Jon Peterson's real estate group. Along with providing superior service & top-notch real estate knowledge to her clients, she is also able to provide a valuable asset through sharing her staging expertise to help facilitate a timely sale for top market value. As an enthusiastic runner and biker, Laurie has conquered multiple triathlons and marathons. Along with surfing, her newest fitness passion is paddle boarding. Laurie also enjoys reading, traveling, and relaxing at the beach. She is passionate about self-improvement and finding balance in all aspects of her life. She has always been drawn to organizations that facilitate and encourage women helping one another succeed and she works hard to make this concept part of her everyday life. Laurie identifies herself as spiritual person and gets true enjoyment out of helping others. She has dedicated her time and energy to multiple chartable organizations throughout her life and has most recently become involved with a cause very dear to her heart, Dress for Success. She is incredibly honored and excited to be supporting the efforts of Dress for Success as their mission aligns so well with her passion for helping other women achieve their goals and succeed in life. Laurie is also focusing on an organization called International Outreach through her membership of the Raleigh Women’s Club. International Outreach strives to provide healthcare for women in third-world countries who do not normally have access to a clean and safe healthcare system. The most rewarding aspect of her career in real estate is helping people achieve their dream of owning a home. Laurie loves working with her clients and her goal is always to make sure they have a positive, comfortable experience. To accomplish this goal, she takes a high-touch approach through frequent and detailed communication with her clients. Her professional & thorough communication style ensures that her clients feel informed and they are confident that their interests are her top priority.
