All the districts say they reached this point due to flaws in Gov. Phil Murphy’s seven-year funding formula, S2.

This article explains in simple terms how the Federal cap on the property tax deduction (otherwise known as SALT) is causing a decline in property values in NJ, as well as in other areas of the country. The article uses an example involving a West Orange home. If you or someone you know is interested in exploring a possible appeal to reduce your property taxes, call or email us today with the property address and we will be happy to provide a complimentary review. If we take your case, the legal fee is contingent upon our achievement of a reduction of your property tax assessment. You can reach us at [email protected] or 973-535-3032 to find out more. You have the right to file a property tax appeal every year. Now is a good time to review for a possible 2020 appeal to see if you may be entitled to tax savings.
