Introducing Nadia Ramirez, our office manager/interpreter, a native Spanish speaker who was born in Mexico City. She moved to the United States at a young age and became a citizen a few years after. She is dedicated to helping Spanish speakers communicate effectively with K&S attorneys. She graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Business Administration. She was most recently a Senior Project Manager for a translating and interpreting agency in Charlotte, NC. Nadia has a background in project management, business development, sales and marketing and interpreting. She has lived in many places in the United States including California, Nevada, North Carolina, New York, Florida and is currently a proud resident of the state of Arkansas.

Introducing Alyssa Sydow, our marketing director, who is an avid fashion lover and a native to Arkansas. Her happiest moments in life are spent with her family, dogs and being at the beach. She has a diverse marketing background offering several years of experience with proven success in creating brand identity and client management. Alyssa has an excellent ability to deliver in the marketing industry while managing a variety of projects simultaneously. She has previously owned a small business, opening it at the age of 20, where she developed and implemented strategies to increase online presence of emerging social media networks. Learning the ins and outs of a law firm have been exciting and inspiring. She attended Oklahoma State University and moved back to her home state afterwards where she met her husband John Sydow.

The firm’s founding partners have years of experience in the areas of criminal defense, family law and general civil litigation. Due to rising crime rates, Morrilton and the surrounding area is long overdue for a criminal defense law firm. It is noted that the Hispanic population in Morrilton is approaching 10% and growing, so in addition to representing persons native to Arkansas, the firm will also act for non-english speaking segment through the access of our in-house Spanish interpreter.

Introducing John Sydow, our other founding partner, who is a fourth generation Arkansan that loves hunting, fishing, and most of all, the Arkansas Razorbacks. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, John decided to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. He has gained a wide range of experience in many areas of law including: domestic relations, civil practice, and probate. His true passion lies in criminal defense and has focused his time on defending the rights of the accused. John is an experienced trial attorney having represented clients charged with a wide variety of crimes ranging from Capital Murder to misdemeanors. He has the knowledge, skill, and drive to fight for every client, no matter how serious or difficult the obstacles they are facing.

Introducing Scott Kadien, one of our founding partners, who is an experienced trial attorney having tried dozens of jury trials as a defense attorney and a prosecutor. He has successfully tried all types of crimes ranging from DWI to Capital Murder. His extensive trial experience as an attorney and his 23 years as a police officer make him uniquely qualified to defend people charged with any type of crime in Arkansas. Scott holds an MA in Criminal Justice, Boston University. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He is admitted to the New York Bar and Arkansas Bar.
