Well, Cinda did it again! She just got back her results from last week's Notary Renewal test. (she has to renew every 4 years). She passed with a 100% correct score (That is the 4th time). If you need something notarized Cinda should be your go to person. She won't steer you wrong.

I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for following my Notary page. I have been a Notary Public for over 25 years and have seen about every kind of situation in the notary world that there is to see. I am getting ready to renew my credentials again this year for another 4 years and plan to keep on notarizing signatures for many years. The notary business is a big help in keeping BookSmart viable as a business and active in the community and I really appreciate any business you send my way.
My hours are pretty set at 10 to 3 Monday thru Sat and 10 to 12 on Sundays with an occasional shift when I am out or have an offsite notary. If you share my contact info with anyone needing documents notarized I would be very appreciative! Thanks again for following this page.

FREEDOM FEST ANNUAL ESSAY CONTEST

Students in Grades 2 through 5 are invited to enter!

Our Freedom Fest 2021 Theme is “HONORING OUR HEROES”. Who would you honor as a true hero? You may choose a group of people, such as First Responders, research experts, soldiers, or medical staff. Or, you may write about an individual such as your mom/dad, your teacher/principal, your favorite author, or historic person. These are but a few ideas to start you thinking!

Essays should be no longer than one page in length for students in Grades 2 and 3, and no longer than two pages in length for students in Grades 4 and 5. Students should place their name, school, grade level, phone number and email on their essays. (We can’t wait to notify our winners!)

Essays are due Friday, April 16th

Essays may be submitted via email to [email protected]. Classroom teachers who use this as an assignment may submit class entries. Essays may also be submitted at Booksmart or mailed to Karen Ann Crane – 15860 Walter Breton Drive, Morgan Hill, California, 95037.

1st Prize Winners in Primary and Upper Grades receive $100

2nd and 3rd Prize Winners in Primary and Upper Grades receive $50

All six winners will receive trophies and T-shirts.

Winning essays will be published on our Freedom Fest Website, in Freedom Fest’s 4th of July Program of Events, and in our local Morgan Hill Life.

Just got done taking my 4 year update test and I aced it! I always worry a little before the test but once I start taking it I settle down.
