📜 April 10, 1776 — Burlington on the Brink

Two hundred fifty years ago today, Burlington was alive with Revolutionary tension.
Patriot delegates from our county were pushing New Jersey toward independence. Quaker families wrestled with conscience and conflict. Militia units trained along the river as British ships prowled the Delaware.

History wasn’t happening somewhere else — it was happening right here.
