Not only do we grieve for the loss of so many who fought our wars to secure our freedoms, we also grieve for the loss of patriotism, the loss of respect for our way of life and the loss of respect for our nation and its founding principles by so many who are protected by them. We pray that the prevailing political trends of so many Americans do not result in voting our selves into a system of government that we will not be permitted to vote ourselves out of. Happy Independence Day to all of our friends! A little time reading about the horrible conditions that our revolutionary war soldiers endured will help one to understand the sacrifices it took to win our freedom. Have a great Independence day celebration and don’t forget why we celebrate!

For our war fallen, there is little more we can do but remember. Place a wreath at their cemeteries. Maybe some flowers upon the graves of those whose remains made it home. What we can do though, for those who fight today, and will fight tomorrow, is to arm them with the best that science and technology has to offer, then support them in battle, and resist efforts to underfund/defund their efforts.
