That’s a wrap on the 41st annual SBIFF!

So much fun, so many great movies, and so many amazing tributes. Thank you to the talented people and unbelievable amount of volunteers who made it all come together so perfectly. I am inspired and in awe of this magnificent event.

Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.*

Each January, the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department hosts a Rose Pruning Day at Mission Historical Park. Volunteers are invited to spend the morning in the A.C. Postel Memorial Rose Garden helping to prune the approximately 1-acre garden in preparation for spring growth. This volunteer pruning event ensures that the garden is ready for mulching and feeding as soon as new growth begins in February.
