🚨NEWS ALERT🚨: the Department of Homeland Security is now providing Temporary Protective Status (TPS) for Venezuelans starting March 9, 2021. Any Venezuelan National can qualify so long as they have been present in the United States since March 8, 2021.

Registration is open until September 5, 2021. This will afford protective status for a period of 18 months. One will be able to have a work permit and if need be, one could qualify for permission to travel to their home country. Lastly, you cannot be deported having TPS.

This can also be a tremendous avenue of relief if the TPS recipient lives within one of the circuit courts jurisdiction that allows one to apply for a green card based on TPS status. The circuits that allow this are the 6th, 8th and 9th circuits.

🚨ALERTA DE NOTICIAS🚨: el departamento de seguridad nacional ahora está recibiendo aplicaciones para estado de protección temporal (TPS) para los Venezolanos empezando 9 de Marzo 2021. Cualquier nacional venezolano puede calificar si han estado en los Estados Unidos desde 8 de marzo 2021.

El Registro está abierto hasta el 5 de septiembre 2021. Esto dará estatus protegido por 18 meses. Uno va poder recibir un permiso de trabajo y si lo necesita, puede pedir permiso de salir a su país. Últimamente, uno está protegido de deportación.

Esto también puede ser una grande avenida para los que reciben TPS y que viven en uno de las jurisdicciones de las Cortes que permita uno de TPS aplicar por la residencia. 🚨News Alert🚨 Biden’s plan has officially been presented. What do we know?
1. DACA and TPS recipients will be eligible to apply for a greencard immediately if they have had their status since January 2017.
2. Farm/agricultural workers will be eligible to immediately apply for a greencard.
3. For those who are undocumented, there will be an 8 yr path to citizenship, starting with 5 yrs with a work permit, 3 yrs with the greencard and finally applying for citizenship.
