we honor the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. As a Baptist minister and civil rights leader, King helped lead mass movements for racial justice, voting rights and economic equity through nonviolent action. His leadership was instrumental in ending legal segregation and advancing landmark civil rights protections.

King’s birthday is a reminder that the work he championed requires sustained commitment, not just annual observance.

Summary: Title 28 U. S. C. §2244(b)(3)(E) does not bar this Court’s review of a federal prisoner’s request to file a second or successive §2255 motion for postconviction relief, and §2244(b)(1) does not apply to second or successive motions filed under §2255(h) by federal prisoners challenging their convictions or sentences.
