Tony Hsieh, the founder of Zappos.com passed in late 2020 at the age of 46 following a house fire. His estate is estimated to be valued at more than $800 million. His administrative assistant has brought suit against the estate for more than $80 million! His father and brother have spent millions in legal fees for probate and will lose millions to taxes that were avoidable. We don’t all have massive fortunes but why not protect what you do have?
