We are happy to report that Attorney Peter Wosnik recently helped a deserving client accused of DUI on two occasions achieve fantastic results in both cases. In the first case, Mr. Wosnik filed motions challenging the probable cause of the arrest for lack of evidence and the scientific reliability of the HGN test performed by the officer. After a lengthy hearing and briefs submitted by both sides, the State offered a plea to a reckless driving before the court even decided the matter. In the second case, the State dismissed the DUI entirely prior to the filing of the accusation due to Mr. Wosnik's advocacy.

Congratulations to partner John Schneider and associate attorney Allison Christian for obtaining a not guilty verdict for our client this week. Our client was charged by the state with family violence battery, however, he maintained his innocence demanding a jury trial. After brief deliberations, the jury returned a unanimous verdict of not guilty.

Earlier today, Attorneys Peter Wosnik and Robby King secured a full acquittal of their client on a lengthy 14 count indictment. Our client was originally charged in a 16 count indictment with charges of Aggravated Sexual Battery on a Minor, Child Molestation, Sexual Battery on a Minor Under 16, Cruelty to Children in the First Degree, and Cruelty to Children in the Second Degree. The State dismissed the two most serious charges in the week leading up to trial and proceeded on a new indictment before the jury ultimately found our client not guilty on all charges after an almost two-week trial. This took a full effort from the entire team at Wosnik Law, but justice ultimately prevailed for our client and his family.
