We’re hiring! We’re looking for a part-time or as-needed person to handle customer service and rental experiences for our U-Haul side. You’ll be solely responsible for these tasks. We need someone reliable who shows up for their shifts and can be depended on. There’s always something to do, so you shouldn’t have any downtime. You’ll clock in and clock out. If you don’t show up, you won’t get paid. If you don’t call or show up, a doctor’s excuse will be required. Please contact Toni at [email protected] or call me at 843-628-0873. If you or someone you know owns or works for a towing company, we’re currently looking for a partner interested in establishing a business charge account, which would be used primarily for emergency situations and very rarely. Additionally, we are open to towing companies placing signs on our commercial property that read "Unauthorized Vehicles Will Be Towed Away at Vehicle Owner’s Expense." Lastly, as many of you know, one of our main services is being a U-Haul dealer. If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming a vendor for U-Haul—assisting with tows, battery jumps, locked keys, tire changes, and small repairs—we’d love to hear from you. You can select the services you'd like to offer and decide when and which jobs to accept. U-Haul offers excellent compensation for these quick, essential services. Our smart system helps us keep prices the most competitive in the area, and our lot is equipped with cameras, stadium lighting, and monitoring by Berkeley County during their shifts for added security and convenience. To ensure the safety of all, gates remain locked when no staff are on-site, and while 24/7 self-access isn’t available, we offer a reliable on-call line—you can call or text anytime, and a team member will meet you at your preferred time to provide access. We also offer optional insurance, set up a user-friendly online payment portal, and flexible contract options—including month-to-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 1-year agreements—with easy exit strategies.
