Cromwell & Associates Our firm was founded on the principle that estate plans and business plans should work when clients need them to work.

Cromwell & Associates offers estate planning, probate, asset protection, and business planning with expert guidance and personalized service in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. Plans often fail, largely because of a lack of attention to reviewing and updating them. Life constantly evolves and changes; and so must plans evolve and change to be effective. We developed Continuum of Care Programs to provide our clients with continuous, proactive legal counsel: the Family Counsel Plan and the Business Counsel Plan. We believe that our unique processes, and the relationships we build with our clients, are essential in helping our clients care for their family, business or both in a crisis or after a death. Out of an abundance of caution and to give our team time to prepare, our offices will be closed Friday, October 9, as we prepare for Hurricane Isaias.

Our thoughts are with everyone in the path of the storm, and we encourage our clients, friends, and neighbors to take the time now to prepare and put safety first.

A few reminders as you get ready:

• Secure important documents and valuables in a safe, protected location.
• Make sure you have medications and other essential items on hand.
• Charge phones, laptops, and backup batteries.
• Have flashlights, batteries, and a weather radio available.
• Stock up on drinking water and nonperishable food.
• Secure outdoor furniture, plants, and other loose items that could become hazardous in high winds.
• Keep your vehicle fueled and parked in a safe location.
• Make sure you have important phone numbers and emergency contacts readily available.
• Stay informed through trusted weather sources and follow guidance from local officials.

Please take care of yourselves, your families, and your neighbors. We’ll be thinking of our community as Hurricane Isaias approaches and pray everyone stays safe.

For most firms, that is the end of it. You get a binder, you go home, and the plan slowly drifts out of date while your life keeps moving. Our Family Counsel Plan exists because life keeps moving.
