Our Story

My name is John Wilson, I am from Tifton, Georgia; 200 miles south of Atlanta. After High School Graduation in 1980, I joined the United States Navy and spent most of my career overseas in Japan, where I meet my lovely wife Lynn. We have two children, Joshua and Samantha. I have traveled to many places while serving this Great Nation; most of Asia, South America, Mediterranean, and Africa. I also served a total of six years as a Navy Recruiter in Northern Michigan, South Alabama and Southern Mississippi.

After my 22 year Naval Career I retired and decided to make Mobile, Alabama home and finally live the life I dreamed of. In 2002 went to work at the Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama. I was watching my dreams start to slip away. I was working from sun up to sun down and coming home late every night, but I always knew things would change, the had to change! I didn’t let lack of time or lack of money stop me from achieving my dreams! I found the time and the money, I wanted more out of life; and I wanted to not only provide for my family but to enable us to live life on our own terms!

In May of 2003 I was introduced to LegalShield through my work at the Boys and Girls Club. I saw the need in having Legal and Identity Theft Protection. I asked one of the guys, conducting the employee benefits presentation, how to get a job with this company. That is when I meet Don Bryan, we set up a lunch for the following week and when I got there one of the other guys, David Guidroz, explained to me all about LegalShield and how it works. A week later I was in Pelham, Alabama attending LegalShield’s Small Business, Commercial Drivers and Group School, facilitated by Mr. Jimmy Parish. I found that LegalShield, has been offering legal service plans for 45 years, creating a world where everyone can access legal protection - and everyone can afford it.
