Taco ‘bout great ALA Business Partner Resources

Calling all Legal Administrators, Office Managers, and Attorneys without an office manager.

Please join the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Mobile Chapter for their annual Business Partners Expo.
Location - The Crown at 853 Dauphin St. at the corner of Dauphin and Broad. February 29th from 11:00 am -1:30 pm.

We will enjoy a taco bar lunch and an opportunity to get to know local ALA business partners and learn more about their services that all law offices need and use. If you are not a member of the local chapter of ALA you can also meet other local administrators and learn more about the chapter and resources.

Association of Legal Administrators Mobile Chapter members enjoyed a fun lunch together to celebrate the holiday season!

Mobile Chapter members came together Monday night to celebrate Geoffrey Williams, CLM, MBA, M. Div., ALA’s International President and a Mobile chapter member. Geoffrey has accepted a position as the COO at a firm in New Orleans. Geoffrey has been a dedicated member of the Mobile Chapter for almost 15 years. Within those 14 and a half years, he has served as president and other committee roles within the chapter.

We are excited for Geoffrey and wish him luck.

Mobile ALA Chapter Members had an awesome time in New Orleans for the annual Chapter Leadership Institute conference. The Mobile chapter Board of Directors met with representatives from nearly 60 chapters to discuss membership growth, inclusiveness, engagement, and more.

Thank you to everyone for coming to our June ALA meeting yesterday. We especially want to thank Lynn Biles, the Director of the Baldwin County Bar Association for coming to speak to our members. Lynn shared her knowledge on the history of the Baldwin County Bar Association and the many resources that the BAR provides.
