Due to forecasted temperatures, this community sheltering effort will continue on Dec. 31. All shelters listed below (except Theodore Church of God) will operate as previously indicated.
Dec. 31 will be the last night for these cold-weather shelters.

Cold-weather shelters will once again open overnight Dec. 30 at these locations:
*Waterfront Rescue Mission (start here)
*McKemmie Place (women)
*Salvation Army (men)
*Dauphin Way United Methodist Church (women with children & families)
*City of Prichard's Ronald K. Davis Safe House (Prichard residents)
*Theodore Church of God (men, women, children)
City of Prichard residents seeking shelter at the Ronald K. Davis Safe House may bring their pets to the City of Prichard Animal Shelter from 4 to 5 p.m. daily for the duration of this weather event.

❄️ Cold Weather Alert – Shelters Available ❄️
Emergency cold-weather overnight shelters will open at 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 29-30) and are expected to open Wednesday, Dec. 31, if temperatures remain life threatening.
