PRESS RELEASE: Hennepin County Bar Association Welcomes Norman Pentelovitch and New Leaders for 2026-2027 Bar Year
The Hennepin County Bar Association (HCBA) welcomes Norman Pentelovitch as the association’s 108th president. Norm's year-long term began July 1, 2026.
"I am honored to lead the HCBA at a moment when the legal profession, and the communities we live in, are looking to bar associations for leadership on the most critical issues facing our society. More than ever, bar associations are seen as apolitical, professional organizations advocating for the principles and standards of the legal profession. I look forward to continuing HCBA's leadership in this community."
Norm, who will be joining a leading international law firm as a partner in their Minneapolis office, has been an active member of the HCBA since 2017, and a member of the association’s board of directors since 2019. He is a graduate of The Georgetown University Law School and The George Washington University, and is admitted to practice in Minnesota, New York, and Washington, D.C. He previously worked for preeminent national trial firms, and was most recently Director and Assistant General Counsel, Enterprise Risk Management, at 3M.
For the 2026-2027 bar year, Nicholas M. Ryan (President-Elect), Ryan McCarthy (Secretary/Treasurer), and Jessica Klander (Past President) will serve alongside Pentelovitch on the HCBA executive committee. Austyn Boothe will serve a one-year term as New Lawyers Section representative for the committee.
