Lakes Area Realty is proud to announce Nate Klinkhammer as our June Realtor of the Month!
This is Nate’s official full year as a realtor and he could not be more thrilled. He grew up on a small
farm in northwest Minnesota in the rural community of Mahnomen, MN. He now resides in a small
town in the middle of Minneapolis and St Paul called Lauderdale.
Before working in real estate, Nate spent 20 years working in finance and accounting as he is still a
certified public accountant. He worked in various roles at the corporation 3M throughout his years as
an accountant. Nate received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Minnesota State
University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St Thomas.
So far in real estate Nate is continuing to learn something new every day. “My absolute favorite aspect
of the business is meeting and interacting with phenomenal clients and colleagues every day”
Nate and his partner David both enjoy their careers and spend most of the time working. When free,
they often take walks around Lake Nakomis, prepare meals, and sip coffee on weekend mornings.
Nate’s favorite quote to live by Is “Once you stop learning, you start dying” Albert Einstein.
