Our client was a bricklayer who was seriously injured in a car crash caused by an underinsured driver.

The collision shattered his knee, femur, and hip, injuries that disrupted his ability to work and live life as he knew it. When he turned to his own insurance company for underinsured motorist benefits, the claim was disputed.

With Attorney Jeff Sieben and the SiebenCarey team by his side, the case went to trial in Dakota County District Court.

The jury heard the full scope of the injuries, the impact on our client’s livelihood, and the responsibility that remained when coverage fell short.

The result was a $793,000 verdict against American Family Insurance Company, a significantly larger award than what was originally requested.

What a day at Saturday's 4th Annual Minnesota Building and Construction Trades Council Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Ribfest!

SiebenCarey teamed up once again with IBEW Local 292 to compete, and even with the rough weather, the turnout was fantastic. We didn't place as high as last year, but everyone had a great time. Most importantly, we raised a lot of money for military families in need, and that's what this event is all about.

SiebenCarey was proud to return as a Gold Sponsor. Our labor liaison Ian Carey, who serves on the board and steering committee for the Minnesota Building and Construction Trades Council, worked the booth alongside law clerk John Gauger, and the Carey family also came out to support. Senator Amy Klobuchar joined us to kick off this year's rib tasting.
