This summer was the “summer” of projects! This one was a biggie and we hired most of it out to the professionals at (windows) and (siding & roofing). did the detailed metal bracket that is now supporting the roof over the doorway. We took a chance on my vision and we are super happy with the end results! Obviously, the driveway needs to be redone at some point 🤦🏻‍♀️. Swipe ➡️ for a before photo.
What prompted this remodel, which turned into a much larger project, was the wholes in the cedar siding from wood peckers and the sagging roofline over the garage. The only thing we got TOTALLY LUCKY on was the hail storm that happened during the siding installation, which warranted a NEW ROOF covered by insurance 🙌🏼.

We have been busy busy remodeling this house for the past 4 years, but we decided to fit Five major projects in! New windows, new siding, new deck, new railing, 2 remodeled bathrooms, um... what else 🤗 oh ya we have day jobs too lol! Can’t take credit for most of it, but we did put our fair share of sweat equity into each project and I couldn’t be happier! This bathroom is so close to being done!!! @ Bloomington, Minnesota

I really dislike starting out saying “it’s not quite done”, but it’s the truth! This shelving unit was a piece of puzzle to build and buy materials for, but it was totally worth the fights between my husband and I ❤️. Finishing touches like styling the shelving, bedding, and artwork will happen someday!!
