ON HER ACCEPTANCE OF THE POSITION OF CHIEF PATENT COUNSEL
OF THE ALIBABA GROUP
MINNEAPOLIS - Hamre, Schumann, Mueller & Larson, P.C. (“HSML”) congratulates Min (Amy) Xu on her acceptance to become the Chief Patent Counsel for the Alibaba Group. As the Chief Patent Counsel, Ms. Xu will have responsibility for Alibaba Group’s worldwide patent activity.
Ms. Xu, as a partner at HSML, practices intellectual property law, having more than twenty years of substantial experience in the field of electronics, telecommunication, computer systems, and medical devices, and with practice in patent prosecution, licensing, acquisition, and litigation in U.S. with a focus on China-U.S. cross-border intellectual property rights.
Ms. Xu received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science in 1991 from Fudan University in Shanghai and University of Minnesota, her M.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science in 1997 from University of Minnesota, and her J.D. in 1997 from William Mitchell College of Law.
