So happy for my client. He was innocent but still had to endure a trial in Cottonwood County.After State rested we moved to dismiss. Judge dismissed the case. What a relief for him!

Thank goodness for video. It is a game changer in criminal defense. In the past two months I have had two felony cases dismissed because the videos contradicted the State’s allegations. The first case was a drug case where the State argued it had probable cause to search my client’s vehicle based on a K9 search. The video showed that the k9 never alerted. The judge dismissed it. The second case involved an allegation of criminal s*xual conduct. The video in the garage showed the entire encounter of two people hugging each other multiple times. It showed purely consensual acts between two adults. Without the video the jury would have decided the case based purely on the credibility of the witness testimony. The video corroborated my client’s version of what happened.. case dismissed.
