Mr. Soshnick will assist you in connection with your uncontested matter if you and your spouse can agree on all issues, and meet residency requirements. These issues include, but are not limited to:
1. The grounds for divorce (no fault grounds);
2. The division of marital property and debts;
3. Custody of the children (if applicable);
4. Parenting time (if applicable);
5. Shared legal custody (if applicable);
6. Child support (if applicable);
7. Spousal maintenance;
8. Medical insurance;
9. Counsel fees, Court filing fees, and disbursements.
Additionally, Mr. Soshnickâs law office will prepare and file all required court documents pertaining to your case so that a court appearance may not be necessary.
The cost for an uncontested divorce starts at $2,500.00 plus court fees and disbursements. Contested matrimonial cases will require a reasonable retainer fee of $5,000.00 and up, at the rate of $500.00 per hour.
The consultation fee of $200.00 will be credited if retained.
