You can’t beat your case if you take a plea.
Sometimes, winning means having the patience, the conviction, and the strength to fight all the way to the end.
Four years.
Four years of litigation. Four years of uncertainty. Four years of having your life hanging in the balance.
And for four years, Attorneys John Birdsall and Abigail Hager never stopped fighting.
They investigated. They litigated. They challenged the State’s case at every turn. They poured countless hours into motions, hearings, strategy, and preparation; always looking for the next way to protect their client and move the case toward the outcome their client deserved.
Four years of work, preparation, litigation, and refusing to accept anything less than the best possible outcome ultimately led to one thing:
A felony s*xual assault of a child case dismissed.
But this result belongs to more than just the lawyers. It belongs to a client who had to carry the weight of this case for four incredibly difficult years. Staying strong while your future is uncertain is no small thing. We are grateful for the client’s trust in us, and we have enormous respect for the strength and perseverance they showed from beginning to end.
Four years later, the fight is over. The case is dismissed.
This is what we mean when we say:
Your Future. Our Fight.
