Allow me to reintroduce myself.
Some of you may have known me in the past as an athlete, competing in MMA, stepping inside the cage. Maybe you saw me play at Historic Horlick Field, donning the #43 or #18 as a defensive back and hoisting up trophies for the Racine Raiders. Maybe you’d even known me as a cellist, playing in orchestras, bands and winning soloist competitions.
Certainly, those experiences have helped mold me into the person I am.. but that is not who I am. I am much more than any of those things. Amongst a multitude of titles, I’m most proud of being a father to my beautiful 6 year-old girl named Avah.
Career-wise I put in the work to become a top-producing real estate agent. I’ve flipped properties, named a luxury multifamily building in Milwaukee, leased up and managed multi-million dollar luxury apartment buildings, but most have not witnessed the majority of this journey! I began this career as a leasing agent while licensed with Coldwell Banker, leasing out section-8 properties.. $450, $550 per month rentals. From there, to changing brokerages to North Shore Homes, Inc. and becoming a luxury property manager in Milwaukee, to now selling $900k+, >1 million dollar homes. This career progression has been difficult! But faith, coupled with hard work and an obsessive persistence is the only way I even got this far.
Looking ahead to 2022, I plan to work even harder. I will also learn to enjoy it without compromising my integrity, goals, or finances. There are hobbies I’ve had that I will now need to plan out. Since my priority is my family and career, I may not have time for any of them anymore. But at least I truly enjoy what I do on a daily basis.
Focus on the things you love to do, because through your passions you may find your purpose. If there is something that keeps speaking to you internally, don’t ignore that! We were all given dreams for a reason, and I am a believer that God has something amazing that’s meant just for you. But without hard work and persistence, it won’t happen. Your dreams will NOT come knocking on your door. But I might 🙂.
