We’re thrilled to welcome Kathryn Chandler to the firm! Kathryn is licensed to practice in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado and became board certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2023. She has over 12 years of energy experience, including working on the Midland Basin-South operational land team for Concho Resources (now ConocoPhillips). She also has experience working in legal aid, in city government as a prosecutor, in delinquent property tax collection, and representing property associations.

Rebecca Patterson Linehan was sworn in last week by Texas Supreme Court Justice Evan Young as the District 16 Director on the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors. She will serve a three-year term representing all lawyers in the 18 counties from Midland to Lubbock.

Our very own Gregory Martin has been accepted into the inaugural class of the Rocky Mountain Fellows Institute of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Gregory E. Martin earned his (1) LL.M. in Taxation degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas; (2) J.D. degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas; and (3) Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He joined Stubbeman, McRae, Sealy, Laughlin & Browder, Inc. in February 2022.

The Rocky Mountain Fellows Institute was created by ACTEC Fellows to develop the profession’s future leaders in trust and estate law through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by outstanding subject matter experts in each field from across the U.S.
The institute includes six sessions for lawyers who were nominated by an ACTEC Fellow and selected through a competitive application process. The program begins in July 2024 and concludes in November 2024.
