Ten years ago today, I took a leap of faith and opened the doors at Jones Health Law P.A.. When I started this journey, I didn't have a single client. To be completely honest, there were days in the beginning when I felt entirely lost. The past decade has been a masterclass in resilience filled with incredible victories, humbling failures, steep learning curves, and plenty of ups and downs.
Looking back at where I started compared to where the firm is today is profoundly humbling. We have gone from an empty client roster to helping hundreds of professionals navigate the complexities of health law. Over this decade, I’ve had the privilege of growing professionally in ways I once only envisioned. I've expanded my ability to help others by becoming licensed to practice law in Florida, Tennessee, Washington D.C., and the United States Supreme Court. I've also had the distinct honor of serving as the Immediate Past-Chair of the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar and giving back to the next generation of attorneys by teaching Health Law as an Adjunct Professor at University of Tennessee College of Law.
But this milestone is not just about my journey; it is about the community that made it possible.

Booker T. Washington once said: "I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed." When I look at the past ten years, it is the obstacles we've overcome that make me the most proud of the foundation we have built. I am incredibly grateful for the people we have helped along the way. Here is to the lessons learned, the journey so far, and the next ten years of Jones Health Law!
