Thank you for hosting this diverse panel of incredible professionals helping our special needs community. We had a Group Home Specialist, special needs school owner, Occupational Therapist, mental health professional, a soon-to-be nurse practitioner (currently a BT) and of course, yours truly 🤓. It was so informative for the community members but I also learned a lot! Having a special needs kids is challenging and these ladies were so helpful.

I get asked often: “Do I need a Will or a Trust?” I know the lawyer answer, “it depends” is annoying; however, if a lawyer tells you: “you *always* need a trust” … be careful. Trusts are amazing but it may not be the ONLY planning tool you need. Having detailed conversations with an experienced estate planning attorney is always the BEST FIRST STEP!
