With little development along its banks and protected wildland all around, the Blackwater stays remarkably untouched, a slow moving corridor of clean water, towering pines, and quiet sandy beaches far from any crowd. Generations of Panhandle families have grown up floating this river, and it remains one of the finest paddling streams in the entire South. 🛶
