El Departamento de Estado actualizará las categorías de solicitantes que podrían calificar para una exención de entrevista en el proceso de solicitud de visa no inmigrante.

¿Quiénes califican para la exención de entrevista?
✅ Solicitantes de visas diplomáticas u oficiales.*
✅ Renovación de visas de turista con validez de diez años, que el solicitante haya tenido al menos 18 años al momento de la emisión y que esté dentro de los 12 meses posteriores al vencimiento de la visa anterior.

🚨 ¡Atención!
Los menores de 14 años y mayores de 79 años ya no están exentos de entrevista. A partir del 2 de septiembre de 2025, deberán presentarse físicamente para una entrevista con un oficial consular.
