On July 1, 2025, the Florida legislature enacted a new law where it became a criminal offense to drive 100 or more mph in a motor vehicle. On August 27, 2025 a Polk County Sheriff Deputy had his patrol vehicle's radar calibrated at the start of his shift. Later that night he went out hunting and found on I4 and arrested her. He claimed his radar clocked her at 100mph on the dot. The prosecution offered 6 months probation for what really should have been a speeding ticket.

As my grandfather used to say.. "Eyes too big mouth too small." 20 min. not guilty verdict and I'm headed back home!

Yesterday, January 27, 2026, the Second District Court of Appeal GRANTED our Petition for Writ of Prohibition challenging the trial court’s denial of our Motion to Disqualify the Trial Judge. In other words, the trial judge who presided over Ms. Andrews’ trial has been removed from the case and Ms. Andrews will have a new judge going forward. Given the decision by the appellate court, Ms. Andrews will be seeking a new trial!

This one is special.

I just wrapped up my 7th jury trial of the year. 4th trial in two months. Before the trial, I filed a motion to continue the trial because I am exhausted from the last 2 months and needed more time to finalize a few things. The judge denied my motion and told me to come see him in Court. On the first day of trial I renewed my motion, the judge denied it again and we began picking the jury. Three days later. Not Guilty on all 4 counts! 🤷🏽‍♂️

15 year min man gone. 120 year max sentence, gone. ⚖️

I have known Dre since we were teenagers going to the Federal Prison to visit my father and Ronnie Tape (RIP) back in 08' 09'

In 2020, Dre was arrested with 23 other co defendants. A huge drug trafficking investigation they called "Operation Block Party" Wire Taps, surveillance, cameras, vehicle trackers, FDLE, BSO, FMPD, LCSO, Homeland Security, a bunch of police agencies, confidential informants, everything. At that time AsiliA Law Firm was 1 month old. I reached out to Dre just to check on him and we talked about the situation. Over the years, we spoke about the case and I would give him my thoughts, until March of this year when he tagged me in. 😈 9 months later we walked him out the courthouse with us. The only one of the 24 co defendants to go to trial and beat their case.

Better late than never. I have been a little busy, but we have so much to discuss about this case. For now let's start with a little recap of the doubters, the trial, the verdict, and the resilience of Alicia Andrews.

After we released our official statement yesterday, (Megan’s attorneys) emailed Jeremy in an attempt to intimidate and threaten the Defense team to retract its statement. continued by releasing its own statement falsely accusing the Defense of making false and defamatory statements. Some, but not all, of the “Independent Journalists” who were present during the trial aligned themselves with Megan’s attorneys and promoted the false narrative that the Defense team was somehow lying about the results of the trial.

Megan herself took to Twitter and accused the Defense team of lying.

Hours ago, Judge Altonaga reduced her oral ruling to writing and it is clear that the Defense never lied about the results of the trial.

The Final Judgment of the Court is that the defamation claim is dismissed. Any headline that reads that Megan won her “Defamation Suit” is thus inaccurate.

How ironic is it that Megan sued Milagro because Milagro called Megan a liar… Yet Megan and her attorneys make false accusations and accuse the Defense team of being liars
