Winning a judgment is only part of the process. Enforcing it can be just as important.
After securing a $335,000 equitable lien following trial, we successfully opposed a last-minute effort to stop the scheduled foreclosure sale of the property.
The Court denied the emergency request and confirmed that the property could proceed to foreclosure sale for no less than $335,000, preserving our client’s ability to enforce the judgment.
The case is a reminder that post-trial motions, stays, appeals, and enforcement proceedings can significantly affect whether a successful judgment ultimately translates into recovery.
