Florida’s CHOICE Act rewrote what a non-compete can do.

The law is strongly pro-employer, allowing significantly stronger non-compete agreements for high earners. In Miami-Dade County, the threshold base salary for an employee to be subject to the CHOICE Act is $177,000 or more.
