🚨 𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗟: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗙 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗

This is no longer just a proposal. The future of 168 acres in West Kendall has been approved and now the conversation shifts to what happens next.

On April 23, the Miami-Dade County Commission voted 8-5 to approve the redevelopment of the former Calusa Golf Course, clearing the way for 524 single-family homes on the site near SW 127th Avenue and Kendall Drive.

After years of debate, lawsuits and community opposition, the project has been significantly reduced from earlier proposals. The approved plan also includes changes involving traffic improvements, drainage, landscaping, open space and protection of the bird rookery.

But here's the question for Kendall residents:

🗣️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞?

Will this development be a positive addition to West Kendall or will the impact on traffic, infrastructure, wildlife, green space and quality of life outweigh the benefits?
