In honor of , we’re looking back at one of South Florida’s most talked-about probate cases involving Miami heiress Gail Posner and her beloved chihuahua, Conchita.

The widely covered estate dispute drew national attention for its unusual mix of pet trusts, multimillion-dollar assets, and allegations of undue influence tied to the heiress’s final estate plan.

’s Bruce Katzen represented Posner’s estate in the matter, which remains a notable example of the complex legal issues that can arise in trust and estate litigation.

recently welcomed United States District Judge Roy K. Altman to the firm’s new Downtown Miami office for a special visit and book signing with attorneys and staff.

Judge Altman joined the team to discuss his new book, Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law, which explores historical and legal claims through the lens of courtroom principles such as evidence, corroboration, and burden of proof. The conversation offered insight into the research, historical analysis, and legal framework underlying the work, as well as the broader importance of careful inquiry and fact-based examination.

Thank you to Judge Altman for spending time with our team! Events like these create valuable opportunities for thoughtful discussion and continued learning across our firm.

is pleased to welcome attorneys Alejandro Anselmi, Amy K. Brown, and Cameron Duran to the firm.

The additions reflect the firm’s continued growth across several key practice areas, including complex commercial litigation and probate, trust, and guardianship litigation, as demand continues to rise throughout South Florida’s evolving legal market.

“Florida continues to attract significant wealth and business activity, and the nature and volume of disputes are evolving alongside it,” said Founding Member Alan Kluger. “Expanding our team with talented litigators across key practice areas allows us to meet that demand while preserving the focused, high-caliber practice that has defined our firm for decades.”

Their experience and perspectives further strengthen the firm’s ability to guide clients through sophisticated, high-stakes disputes across a wide range of industries.

has officially moved into its new headquarters in Downtown Miami.

Recently featured in the Daily Business Review, the firm’s new office reflects a broader shift taking place across South Florida’s legal market, as firms rethink how workspace design can better support collaboration, productivity, mentorship, and client experience.

After nearly three decades in the Citigroup Center, Kluger Kaplan has built a new space occupying 18,000-square-feet on the tower’s 18th floor, designed around natural light, shared workspaces, upgraded technology, and a more connected team environment.

“We really wanted to shy away from the more traditional law firm office layout and create more collaborative spaces where people can interact,” said Shareholder Josh M. Rubens. “So much of your experience in an office is the layout.”

The new headquarters marks an exciting next chapter for the firm while remaining rooted in the Downtown Miami community it has called home for decades.
