St. Thomas Law Trial Team members Danielle Guerrero (3L), Katherine Toyos (3L), Laura Marino (3L), and Ashley Lago (3L) all competed this weekend in the Georgetown Law White Collar Crime Invitational held at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. where they advanced to the semi-finals. The hard work, commitment, and dedication left them undefeated in the preliminary rounds and placed them third out of 16 schools beating out Harvard and other top schools across the nation. Laura Marino was especially honored with an Honorable Mention for Best Advocate. The team was coached by four alumni, Tucker O'Neill, Jamie O'Neill, Alejandra Preciado Disla, and Jason Villa. Congratulations to our amazing students!
