John Curtis welcomed us on Friday to perform the DWI/Texting While Driving Mock Trial. The 10th through 12th graders were so attentive and interactive before, during and after the trial. Thank you to my fellow attorneys, Jessica Raines and David Bravo, for your great presentations. Coach JT stayed the entire time and was so thankful to LCMC and LSP for all their hard work in continuing this great program.

Enjoyed the morning with two great attorneys, David Bravo and Joe McMahon at Jesuit High School. I’ve been fortunate to participate in the Sudden Impact Program for the past nine years. Throughout my twelve trials, I’ve played the role of Judge, Prosecutor and Defense Attorney. LCMC and LSP do a phenomenal job in executing all three phases of this program, ending in the mock trial. I know we’ve made an impact on thousands of high school students and look forward to continuing to serve.

The Academy of the Sacred Heart welcomed myself, attorney David Bravo and Judge Olivier to put on a mock "DWI and texting while driving" trial today before the student body. We are hopeful this impacted the students' future decisions.

Thank you LCMC Health and Louisiana State Police for inviting me once again to participate in their DWI and texting while driving mock trial. It was a great opportunity to educate students in our community about the choices they make and the possible consequences.
