Leavitt & Meunier Law

Leavitt & Meunier Law At Leavitt & Meunier Law, we take a hands-on approach to quality representation. It's much more complex than most and getting harder to prove.

Many disability advocacy groups advertising on TV and the Internet are not lawyers! If they use the word “advocate” to describe themselves they are not attorneys with degrees in law and are not licensed to practice law. At the Law Offices of Melanie Leavitt you will be represented by an experienced attorney licensed to practice law. In a time where 80% to 90% of Social Security Disability applicat

ions are denied, 6 out of 10 Social Security hearings end with a denial, having quality representation from a licensed lawyer is the key to proving a disability. Melanie Leavitt is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law. She has been licensed to practice law since 1984. For the first five years of her legal career she represented unions and union health and pension funds. Since 1989, she has been representing the disabled regarding Social Security, Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance and State and Federal Employee disability retirement. Melanie is also authorized to represent disabled veterans before The Veterans Administration. Adam Meunier is also a graduate of Loyola University Law School. He has been licensed to practice law since 2002. From 1991 until he was licensed to practice law in 2002, he managed this office, worked as a law clerk analyzing medical records and writing legal arguments for appeals. Adam is also authorized to represent disabled veterans before the Veterans Administration.
