I was recently at a third-party driver's license and auto licensing location in Apache Junction, parked and sitting in my car in a parking space after going into the office to renew my license. I had an appointment about 2 miles away and it was in 30 minutes when my phone rings; it was a lady that was in the parking lot parked 2 spaces from my car and needed some documents notarized and the notary from the licensing business was not there. We drove over to a local Wells Fargo because she needed some money and we signed the documents in the Wells Fargo parking lot. She did ask if there was a notary public available at the bank while she was withdrawing money and Wells Fargo did not have a notary public available to help her. Sometimes business just falls in your lap and I was happy to help this lady with her documents. Thank you.

I had a great but busy day today. Starting with my networking group with the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, a great meeting, and then lots of paperwork and preparation for signings tomorrow. More to come about today's work.

As the summer is coming to a close please be careful as you drive your vehicles. The children are returning to school and there are school buses to focus on and sidewalks to watch for kids that are not looking for cars on the street. When driving in a neighborhood and the adult is outside with the kids, make eye contact with the parent as you drive so they are aware you are scanning the road ahead and around you for kids. Be safe out there.
