Those of us who work in real estate know that it’s a very fluid business. It’s no surprise that with the Corona Virus we are already seeing quick changes in the world of real estate. Right now, what we are seeing is an easing of restrictions to keep the market up. Rates are low, guidelines are being relaxed and requirements for “in-house” closing are being redefined to make it easier to conduct closings virtually.

With the coronavirus continuing to reshape the face of the country and the economy, FHA and then VA are moving to try make it easier to lend.

Obviously we are going through a scary time in the world today. Covid-19, in a very short time, has turned our world upside down. We want you to know that Access Title & Closing Group is taking the pandemic very seriously. Years ago, when we started our company, we were concerned that there could be some reason that we wouldn't be able to open our offices. To combat a problem of not being able to have an office open, we created a system so that all employees could work from home just as easily as if they were in the office. It didn't matter if it was a freak winter storm in Birmingham or a hurricane on Florida's Space Coast, we wanted to be prepared. Of course we never predicted Covid-19. With Covid-19, other issues arise than just being able to work from home. To help combat the spread of Covid-19, we are cleaning and sanitizing the areas of our office that are exposed. We do this before and after every closing. We encourage everyone that comes in the office to sanitize and/or wash hands with antibacterial soap. If you are concerned about venturing out and coming to the office, we have other solutions to limit having to leave your home. Just let us know. So if you come by the office and you don't happen to see us, don't worry, we are a phone call or email away. We are here and we are working.
