Our VWAA Hampton Roads Chapter hosted a lovely luncheon at Yorgo's in Norfolk on May 21st. Special Guest was the Hon. Elizabeth W. Haynes who is a U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District.
A good time was had by all!

Our VWAA Roanoke Chapter hosted a fantastic CLE on May 6th, "You Be the Judge." We are grateful to our guest panelists, Judge Rachel Thompson, Judge Hilary Griffith, and Judge Leisa Ciaffone, for such an informative and fun presentation.

The VWAA was proudly represented at the Prince William Co. Bar Association's Dinner Dance on May 2, 2026. We had a fantastic time celebrating Kathy Farrell on her Professionalism Award and Sally Merchak on her Justicia Award.

The VWAA is proud to partner with The Pro Bono & Citizenship Committee for our KYR presentation on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Our fantastic VWAA members, Abbe Reis (Family Law) and Marissa Bagasra (Trusts & Estates), will be joined by Ana Gracia and Katarina Uhalova to provide critical guidance to immigrants and allies on their rights and to help them create an emergency plan to protect their family, assets, and property.

BetterALife.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing food via their food pantry, educational assistance, and life-skill services to children and families in need. Sign up now, it will be a fantastic event!
