We have an immediate need for an admitted attorney to handle personal injury and negligence cases. Candidates should understand and feel comfortable litigating construction, dog bite, slip & fall and motor vehicle accident cases.

Daily responsibility will include the following:

· Intakes for personal injury, labor law, dog bite and auto accident cases.
· Communicating with clients.
· Preparation of Summons & Verified Complaints.
· Preparation of Verified Bills of Particulars and Combined Replies.
· Preparation of Notice of Claims, Infant Compromise Orders and Wrongful Death Compromise Orders.
· Meeting with clients and court appearances.
· Conducting depositions, arbitrations and mediations.
· Participating in trials and preparation thereof.

Candidates will experience a tremendous amount of professional growth, the days will go by super quickly and you will enjoy plenty of camaraderie. The firm meets on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with all firm protocols and the proper prosecution of cases.

Compensation will range from $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year based upon experience and will further include 401k with employer contribution, bonuses, yearly reviews, health benefits, retirement compensation and sick, holiday and vacation pay. Our office is conveniently located near the Merrick train station and offers plenty of free parking. Further, attorneys are encouraged to bring in business and will share in origination fees. Yesterday I selected a jury in the Nassau County Supreme Court concerning a car accident case and by 5 p.m. the jury returned a verdict of $65,000.00 for my client. Another Great Week at Robert K. Young & Associates! Jon VanDina, of our office, took a $100,000.00 jury verdict in the Suffolk County Supreme Court. Well done Jon!

Further, Nicole Chan got an arbitration award of $250,000.00 and Mark Alfisi got an arbitration award of $20,000.00. Way to go team!
