🏡 DON’T BE A FENCE SITTER! 🪑

🚨 Mortgage rates hit around 7.5% this week — the highest level we’ve seen in roughly two years.

And yes… that sounds scary. 😬

But here’s what I want Idaho buyers to understand: higher rates don’t necessarily mean you should sit on the sidelines.

When rates are higher, there can be fewer buyers competing for the same homes, which can create opportunities to negotiate with sellers, request concessions, negotiate price, or structure a deal that works better for you. 🤝💰

And if rates eventually come down, you may have the opportunity to refinance later. You can’t go back and renegotiate the purchase price you paid once the market changes.

The market doesn’t need to crash for buyers to find opportunity. Sometimes the opportunity is simply being willing to make a move when everyone else is waiting. 🏠✨
