This is the part of real estate that doesn’t always make the SOLD post.
At a final walk-through, my buyers walked into a home that looked (& smelled) very different from the one they had seen before.
This wasn’t what they agreed to or what they had financially prepared to take on.
But they wanted this house. They saw their forever home under it all. What they weren’t prepared for was a whole new list of problems on closing day.
I made calls, got ballpark costs and went back to negotiating, all on the way to the closing table.
The closing stalled. The back and forth continued into the parking lot until we reached a resolution and my buyers finally got their keys.
Sometimes being a buyer’s agent means being willing to say, “Hang on. This isn’t right,” even when everyone else is ready to close. When things get complicated, good representation matters most.
Buying a home? Let’s make sure you have someone in your corner through the closing and beyond.
