Attorney Phil Harvey discussed the defense’s strategy in the trial of 𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑐ℎ𝑢𝑠𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑠 𝑣. 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑠𝑎𝑦 𝐶𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑦, a mother accused of murdering her three children, during an interview on Scripps News.
He highlighted that the strongest argument presented to the jury centers on Lindsay’s claim of hearing voices and experiencing delusions, supported by expert testimony about her symptoms.
However, it may be difficult to convince the jury that someone who committed these acts is not criminally responsible. As a result, defense attorneys usually seek an agreement from the prosecutor before trial begins, but it will be up to the jury now.
With growing media attention on the case, one might wonder whether it will influence the jury’s decision. For more information on what Attorney Harvey has to say, check out the full video below 👇
