Lease Purchase. Rent to Own.

I get it.

You’re renting an apartment. Your credit isn’t the best. 💳You don’t have any money saved. 💵

Then, you see this “Lease Purchase” sign in front of a house that looks perfect for you.🏠❤️

On the surface, it looks good and seems like a quick and easy way into homeownership. 🏃🏾‍♀️‍➡️🏠

The truth?

The steps to getting into a lease purchase option is similar to buying a home.

🔑 You have to pay an upfront fee that can be anywhere between 1-5% of the purchase price of the home.

(FHA loans have a down payment of 3.5%)

🔑 The monthly rent does not go towards the purchase price of the home.

Don’t chase an imaginary dream.

Prepare now by doing these three things:

✅ Pay your bills on time 📨ideally before the due date

✅ Pay down your debt 💳especially credit cards, the sweet spot is below 30% of your available credit

✅ Save some money 💵 pay yourself first, even if it’s only $20 a week

You can have a home by spring. You just need a plan.
