The guys are continuing to work, per usual. While this time is unique, the Constitutional protections we all share must be defended as if all were “normal.” Frankly, now may be the time for increased vigilance.

F, S & D appeared in court yesterday and successfully secured the release of an inmate whose health they were very concerned about. Court is happening, people are being arrested. Due Process must be vigilantly guarded.

Let's stay vigilant defending each citizens' rights. Further, let us treat those incarcerated with dignity and not increase their chances at contracting...Lastly, the guys want public defenders to know they are here to help if you need them.

F,S & D open and protecting individuals and corporate rights. People are still being arrested and investigations are continuing. The presumption of innocence cannot be undermined due to a pandemic.

So happy for Mr. Petit-Homme, The 5th DCA agreed with our argument on Appeal and we won. 5D19-108 - reversed and remanded. He was granted a re-sentencing.
