It was good to be back at Hotel Melby attending the The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce multi-cultural networking event. Kate from RedHat Photography took photos as well as facilitated a fun but crucial activity - how to present on social media. It can be difficult to convey the message with sincerity when you don't know who is reading or watching. Here were the key take-aways:

-Maintain eye contact as if they are standing in front of you
-Show your hands as that makes you more trustworthy
-Use slight hand gestures for emphasis
-Stabilize your core (one foot in front so you don't sway)
-What you say in the first 15 seconds needs to grab and keep attention
-Speak slower and lower
