UPDATE: PLEASE SUBMIT RESUME BY TUESDAY, JULY 15 BY 5:00 P.M. It is with a heavy & sad heart I am making this post. Our beloved Jennifer is leaving us for a better opportunity & although we are very happy for her, she will be deeply missed. We will be needing to hire a receptionist/assistant. Requirements: Computer skills, typing, phone etiquette, filing, knowledge of other office equipment such as copier, fax, adding machine, printers. Must be able to handle multi-tasking. FEMA and the Federal Communications Commission will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts this fall. The national test will consist of two portions, testing WEA and EAS capabilities. Both tests are scheduled to begin at approximately 2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The Wireless Emergency Alert portion of the test will be directed to all consumer cell phones. The test message will display in either English or in Spanish, depending on the language settings of the wireless handset.

The Emergency Alert System portion of the test will be sent to radios and televisions.
