Meet our legal assistant extraordinaire, Debra Cox, who joined our firm in July of 2016. She has a total of 22 years’ experience in the legal field, and an AS in Paralegal Studies. Her main responsibility is to obtain medical and billing records for our clients, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and to communicate with the medical providers and the PIP adjusters to make sure the medical bills are getting paid. Her organizational skills and attention to detail are exemplary. She maintains clients’ medical records files so they are complete and organized for the attorneys to review. Debra also drafts letter to clients advising or reminding them of upcoming arbitrations, depositions, and trials.

Debra moved to the Rogue Valley from San Francisco in 1995. She has two sons and four grandsons. In her spare time she likes to work out, read, binge watch crime dramas and spend time with her family. She is also an avid football fan (Go 'Niners!).

Alexa Willits, our receptionist and legal assistant, joined the firm in 2024. She is usually the first voice you hear when you call and is the first person you see when you walk through the door. Alexa’s empathy and kindness will put you at ease from the moment you call or visit our office. She is in charge of directing telephone calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, and vendors to the correct staff member, and she helps to gather important documents. She processes all incoming mail, drafts letters, maintains status reports, and she calendars events and updates client documents.

Alexa was born in Ashland and has lived in Rogue Valley her whole life. She loves spending time with her kiddo, her family, and traveling whenever she can. Her favorite pastime is reading. If she is at home, you’ll most likely catch her with a book in her hands.

Andersen & Linthorst added a new member to our team in December, Marco Boccato, who has proven to be an invaluable asset to our office.

Marco has spent his entire career pursuing justice. He is ready and willing to “put in the work” to help those who have been wrongfully harmed.

Before going to law school, Marco spent a couple years in rural Mississippi with Teach for America as an elementary school teacher and high school cross-country and track coach. He then moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon School of Law. While at law school, he met his future wife, Christina. Marco and Christina have three young children and live in Medford (Christina’s hometown).

After law school, Marco worked at a local law firm before becoming a prosecutor. Starting with the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office, and later with the United States Attorney’s Office, he handled a wide variety of serious cases. From large-scale drug trafficking to animal abuse, Marco worked diligently to keep his community safe and hold wrongdoers accountable. He has tried numerous cases in both state and federal court.

Marco has served as the president of the Jackson County Bar Association, Board President of Jackson & Josephine County CASA, and on the Jackson County Steering Committee for the Campaign for Equal Justice. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, spending time outdoors, and listening to history podcasts. Marco is passionate about helping people who have been hurt by the actions of others and obtaining the best possible outcome for his clients.
